Print & Procurement also carries out consultancy and strategy projects for printing companies.  Our key expertise is in purchasing and negotiation consultancy.  We also assist printing companies with assessing projects and strategy from a print buyer’s point of view.  We are able to offer a wide range of solutions.  Some of our key consultancy services include:

Purchasing
We review procurement strategy, handle complete projects or assist on projects as part of your team.  We will typically assist with consultancy in the following areas:  Review of requirements – Review of Purchasing processes and systems – setting of negotiation strategy – tender documents, service level agreements and contracts.

Tender consultancy
We have knowledge of what information print buyers are looking for from printing companies and are able to assist with the completion of tender documents for your clients.

Training

We offer negotiation consultancy, information on commercial implications and an independent arbitration service.

Factory evaluation
Printing companies can expect to be visited by many buyers.  However, it is rare that any meaningful feedback on your printing company is given by visitors.  Therefore we offer a visit by an experienced print buyer with a full report to highlight what a buyer will see at your printing company.  An evaluation form is also included to cover remote evaluations.  This exercise will ensure that any areas which may be an issue for buyers will be reported back to the management.  In addition it will highlight areas of excellence, which may provide useful sales information.

FSC, PEFC and ISO 14001 certification
We are able to assist you to become certified to the standards you require through a fully UKAS accredited partner that specialises in the printing and publishing sectors.  We are also able to assist with relevant consultancy and strategy for implementation.
