Supplier Management

The supplier management process is becoming increasingly important for many companies in the printing sector.  Print & Procurement is able to assist its clients with a number of supplier management services aimed specifically at print and paper suppliers.  These include supplier assessment, supplier evaluation and supplier performance monitoring, to ensure that your suppliers are assessed and perform to appropriate quality standards.  Print & Procurement is able to undertake projects ranging from an individual supplier evaluation through to running a full supplier management and review process. Some of the services we offer include:

Supplier assessment
We can create a pre-tender supplier assessment form to ensure that you have an appropriate tender shortlist.  A typical form may include areas such as print capabilities, service levels, certification to FSC, PEFC, ISO14001, ISO 9001 etc.  We are happy to recommend print and paper suppliers to whom this form should be sent to.

Supplier evaluation
We will credit check suppliers, require them to fill in a supplier evaluation form and carry out a factory visit where we will review, amongst other areas, quality controls, disaster recovery and environmental policies. A full report is produced highlighting areas of good performance and other areas where improvement may be needed.

Supplier management and monitoring
We can carry out supplier review meetings, implementation of management systems, the monitoring of suppliers through key performance indicators.  We are happy to create systems for you to run, or.  We can also monitor contract compliance by your suppliers.

Dispute resolution
We offer negotiation advice, information on commercial implications and an independent arbitration service.  We also specialise in creating practical solutions to ensure that issues are resolved on a forward looking basis.
